By installing and using Aera you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Aera is a wellness and informational tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and its scores and explanations should not replace professional medical advice. Aera's reads are estimates drawn from consumer sensors, and the app states their limits on screen. If you have a health concern, consult a licensed healthcare provider.
Aera is free to use, with some features available through Aera Premium. Premium is offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically through your Apple ID unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation and again at each renewal. You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple and may be requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Aera may offer a discounted introductory price to new subscribers. The exact price and duration are shown on the subscription screen before you confirm. When the introductory period ends the subscription continues at the standard rate unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand.
Your health data stays on your device. Aera has no servers that could receive it and claims no ownership of anything Aera computes from it. How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Aera, its brand, its visuals and its models are owned by its developer. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the app. You may not decompile, reverse-engineer or redistribute any part of it.
Aera is provided as is. No warranty is offered regarding accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. Your use of the app is at your own discretion and risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions you make based on Aera's reads.
The developer may terminate or suspend access to the app at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using Aera at any time by deleting it and, if applicable, cancelling your subscription through Apple.
These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's country of residence. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the courts of that jurisdiction.
These terms may change over time. The date below reflects the most recent revision, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Aera is distributed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for apps on the App Store, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. By downloading and using Aera you agree to those terms in addition to the Terms of Use above.
