Aera
Questions, bugs or feedback go straight to a person. Expect a reply within two working days.
Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Aera and turn on every category. Aera reads only, so nothing in your Health app is changed. If you chose "Not now" during onboarding, open Aera's own settings and reconnect Apple Health from there.
That is intended, not a fault. Aera compares you to your own past, so each read waits until it has enough of your history to be honest. Roughly: overnight baselines settle after about a week, the recovery baseline uses 28 days, stress uses 42, your bedtime window stays provisional for about two weeks, and a route or place needs at least three runs over the same ground before it appears.
Aera can only read what Apple Health holds. If your watch did not record a night, there is nothing to read. Open Aera and pull to refresh, or leave it in the foreground for a few seconds after a sync, and it will catch up on its own.
No, but it changes what Aera can say. Without a watch you still get movement, workouts and any sleep your iPhone or another device records. Heart rate variability, sleeping heart rate, wrist temperature and blood oxygen come from a watch, and the recovery and stress reads lean on them.
Open Aera, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. If it still does not appear, email us and mention your Apple ID region so we can check the store listing.
Open iOS Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions → Aera → Cancel Subscription. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by Aera. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's flow.
Delete the app. Every score, baseline and log Aera created is stored on your iPhone and goes with it. Your Apple Health data is untouched.
Yes. Open the Export Center and choose a range, then export as JSON, a spreadsheet or a PDF report. The file is written on your device and handed to the share sheet, so you decide where it goes.
No. Aera is a wellness and information tool. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and it should not replace a clinician. If something about your health worries you, speak to a licensed healthcare provider.
