Aera is an on-device health intelligence app. Your data never leaves your iPhone.
Summary: Aera reads health data from Apple Health with your permission, processes it on your device, and keeps the results on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.
Two features rely on Apple-hosted services. Data sent is governed by Apple's privacy terms, not Aera's:
Premium subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Aera does not see your payment details. Subscription status is verified on-device against Apple's receipt. Aera is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. There are no accounts, so no personal information is collected regardless of age.
All data Aera generates (scores, baselines, logs) is stored in a local database on your device. Deleting the app removes all of it. Aera cannot recover data from a deleted install because it never left your device.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. The "Last updated" date below will reflect the change.

Aera is a wellness and informational tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and its scores and insights should not replace professional medical advice. If you have a health concern, consult a licensed healthcare provider.
Aera Premium is available as a Monthly subscription, an Annual subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically through your Apple ID unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation and at each renewal. You can cancel any active subscription at any time in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple and may be requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Aera may offer a discounted introductory price for new subscribers. The exact price and duration are displayed on the subscription screen before you confirm. When the introductory period ends, the subscription continues at the standard rate unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Aera, its brand, its visuals, and its algorithms are owned by its developer. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the app. You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the app.
Aera is provided as is. No warranty is offered regarding accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. Your use of the app is at your own discretion and risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to decisions you make based on Aera's insights.
The developer may terminate or suspend access to the app at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it and, if applicable, cancelling your subscription through Apple.
These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's country of residence. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the courts of that jurisdiction.
These terms may change over time. The "Last updated" date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Aera is distributed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for apps on the App Store, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. By downloading and using Aera you agree to those terms in addition to the Aera Terms of Use above.
